CHANGE IN ORDERING DISHWASHERS
Due to a major shortage of stainless steel in Sweden, Viking Range Corporation is no longer able to order panelized dishwashers from their outsourced manufacturer. As a result, Viking will immediately begin to expand production in Greenwood, MS on Professional and Designer Series stainless steel panels to make up for the shortage. Once the inventory of panelized dishwashers is depleted, SunWest will automatically convert any PO’s you send to us to a full overlay dishwasher model AND the corresponding panel. We are anticipating the change to occur very quickly on the 042 model dishwashers but do have some inventory still on hand at SunWest for the 142 model dishwashers with the anticipation of receiving additional 142 model panelized dishwashers from Viking.
So that you are aware of how we are converting your PO’s internally, below is the list of how the changes will take place once we run out of the panelized dishwashers:
| If you order a... |
You will get... |

DFUD042 AND PTD24SS |

If you need to order a dishwasher in a color, it will be the same process that you currently use now – simply order the PTD24 or DTD24 panel with the color suffix behind the model number. (i.e. PTD24SG)
Although you will now be receiving 2 separate pieces from SunWest versus one complete unit, there is no additional charge for this change in ordering process. The cost of the panelized dishwasher will be the same as the non-panel dishwasher with the corresponding stainless steel panel.
With any change in ordering, we expect a transitional period during this process but are certain that in the long run this new ordering procedure will be beneficial to you. By ordering your dishwasher panel separately, the boxed item will be less likely to be damaged during shipment. For your convenience we are including the installation instructions for the dishwasher panel (see below).

INSTALLING THE DESIGNER SERIES OR PROFESSIONAL SERIES DOOR PANEL
(Purchase separately) The unit comes with everything you need to make installing the door panel easy.
- Peel the adhesive backing off the washers and place them in line with the four holes (F) on the metal inner door for the dishwasher.
- Loosen the screws (D) on the outer edge of the dishwasher.
- Pull the fan exhaust frame (E) down until the lower edge aligns with the lower edge of the cabinets and tighten the screws (D).
WARNING!! The door panel must not obstruct the fan exhaust vent.
- Hood the door panel screws into the keyholes © on the dishwasher door and pull up on the panel.
- While holding the door panel into position, carefully open the dishwasher door. Using the stainless steel screws provided, fasten the door panel into the four holes (F) on the inner door.
- Remove the backing from the protective tape and apply it to the edge of the panel, in front of the exhaust vent.
- Raise the exhaust frame (E) to the bottom edge of the door panel and tighten screws (D) on the side of the dishwasher.
